Safety awareness initiative:

 Under the guidance of our Chairman Mr. Narayan. G and Business Development & Fleet Operation Manager Mr. Shivraj M.K we took the initiative to improve the safety awareness among our drivers and Assistance also office staffs.
The first milestone for this was the safety awareness workshop which was conducted for two days at Sri MathaTransport warehouse in Madanayakanahalli, Tumkur main road at Bangalore. Mr. Shivraj M K was attended by all the drivers and their assistance also workshop mechanics mainly focused on the creating an alert on occupational road safety and traffic risks faced by the drivers. The session also motivated them to understand and control the various risks that they have to face along with traffic danger during their transit and mainly focused for eco– friendly environmental transit awareness. It is also made sure that the workshop will be conducted at regular intervals

Apart from these we have a healthy fleet and heavy truck that are maintained very well at our own garages under the strict supervision of expert mechanics.

Influenced the behavior of the operator:

In order to influence the behavior of the operators SMT launched a series of engagement programs for drivers and supervisors at the operating sites.

Under the driver engagement program, the following areas were covered:

  1. Safe / Soft / Efficient driving skills
  2. Vehicle Maintenance Tips
  3. Health & Finance Management tips
  4. Loyalty based Insurance Coverage – Life insurance coverage after 6 months of service and medical insurance after one year operations
  5. Performance Based Rewards & Recognition program
